7th Grade Projects
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT ART PICK UP!!!
Because of the nature of how we store the art projects all together in the class, we have decided that going through the art work at the start of next year would be the best plan of action. We will NOT be handing out this years work until after school resumes. All art work will be returned to you at the start of next year up at the high school. We will make sure it gets to you. Again, art will NOT be handed back UNTIL school resumes next school year. Thank you!

Wednesday- Olympic team points-
You can earn your Olympic team points by completing this addition assignment. It is all about COLOR! Get your family involved and have everyone dress in the same color. Add props with that same color too. Take a family photo ans send me the picture of it in email and earn the points for your team. Please see picture of example above. Have fun!

Final Reflection Project
-Look at the pictures of all of the projects you have done this year (pictures of examples of projects at top of this page)
-draw and color a picture combining all of the projects (look at the example at the top of this page, it is a 6th grade example sorry)
-include your name
-include your grade level
-use pencil, colored pencil, marker, crayon, whatever you would like
-fill the entire paper
-it should be very detailed and demonstrate what you have learned this year in art
-due Friday

-first trace the drawing with a black sharpie (use black marker or colored pencil if you don't have a sharpie)

-put some overlapping and some cutting off the page
-divide the paper into 4 sections using a ruler
-take your time and draw to the best of your ability

-draw a color wheel with a theme of your choice. Any idea you would like. (see my art supply example at the top of the page)

Monochromatic Animal (link for example located at the top of this page)
-draw an animal face zoomed in and color it monochromatic Use watercolor paint, colored pencil, or crayon. We were going to do a watercolor painting so paint is preferred but if you do not have paint then use colored pencil or crayon.
-monochromatic is all one color with many values (light, medium, dark)
-this is a realistic animal. Do your best to draw it realistic
-the dark parts of the animal will be darkest, and the lighter the lightest.

Take a picture of your three paper airplanes and tell me which went the farthest. Did it surprise you at all? Again, this will be emailed with a picture and a sentence or two telling me your results.
